I have a strong passion for deepening our learning and finding support for healing through mindfulness.
My goal in each session is to guide and help the client with what they need. I want to work with you. We will work together whether you have set accomplishments for yourself or if it changes every session. I want to make sure that you are getting the help that you need. I am focused on meeting you where you are at. It is my belief that you need to be heard, validated and take charge of what you decide you need to work on. I believe that sessions should flow based on what comes up in life and during the process. I believe that a formal, strict adherence to one path towards healing can be limited, invalidating and oftentimes ignores the needs at that moment. I consider my job to provide a space for the client in which I can support them.

Hello, I’m Cassidy. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BCACC, a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the CCPA, and hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I work with individuals, couples, and families to address challenges in relationship dynamics, executive functioning, life transitions, neurodiversity, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I specialize in guiding clients in noticing, identifying, and understanding their emotional and
behavioural patterns that can get stuck on a cycle or loop. Once we can understand our story, our perspectives, and our narrative, achieving lasting change doesn’t feel so out of reach.
My approach to therapy is rooted in attachment theory, and I incorporate humanistic, experiential, and evidence-based methods through Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical
Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy. Attachment theory is at the core of my work, helping to understand how early relationships shape emotional regulation, self-esteem, and our interactions with others. Disruptions in attachment can impact emotional well-being and
relationships that can fickle into other areas of our lives. As humans, we are wired for connection and attachment interruptions can disrupt our nervous system leaving us feeling scattered, unsafe, anxious, or numb.
As a therapist with ADHD and a mother of three, I understand firsthand the complexities of neurodiversity and how it affects emotional health and attachment. I am passionate about
supporting individuals and families navigating the challenges of neurodivergence, parenting, and
mental health. My work emphasizes emotional awareness, flexibility, and practical tools to improve emotional regulation, communication, and coping strategies. I believe it is important to
not just reach your mental health destination of wellness, but understand your journey in itself for long, meaningful change.
